Thanx fot the tip this solves problem with pop3 but not with imap
With imap I get imap(basweb@dikkenberg.net): Mar 07 00:32:35 Error:mailstore/vmail/dikkenberg.net/basweb/.subscriptions failed with subscription file file_wait_lock(): No locks available
I'm running redhat enterprise linux 4.0 with dovecot 0.99.11 but redhat doesn't provide the new version yet with up2date is there an rpm so I can update?

First of all, use 1.0betas instead of 0.99.x.
