No, daylight savings changes only the local time, not the UTC time which time() function returns (and what Dovecot uses).
Yeah, sorry, I wasn't following the thread, and didn't read the message carefully, and probably shouldn't have jumped in at all. While clocks may go backwards, it is none of my business since I hadn't really been following the thread anyway.
