Are you sure you can't configure it to use just Sent, Draft, etc. without the INBOX. prefix? Most webmails can be configured either way.

You can anyway create a compatibility namespace for it. From http://wiki.dovecot.org/Namespaces :

namespace private { separator = . prefix = inbox = yes }

namespace private { separator = . prefix = INBOX. inbox = no hidden = yes list = no # for v1.1+ }
