Either one of the mboxes probably had "folder internal data" message generated by UW-IMAP?
May well be - all the mail was migrated from a uw-imap server a few weeks ago. I cleaned my mailboxes out, but others most likely did not.

This is more annoying to debug. I guess there's a leak somewhere, but I haven't yet found it.. Unless you had set some fd limits before starting dovecot?
