Hello DNSExit,
DNSExit Com, 04.08.2006 (d.m.y):
I have been trying to upgrade it to v1.0 rc5 and we have found that the RC5 has problem with Outlook (Express) with POP accounts. We are getting error with POP3 on Outlook Express: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: ' http://box5.dnsexit.com box5.dnsexit.com ', Server: ' http://box5.dnsexit.com box5.dnsexit.com ', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Are you trying to query your server via http? Or has your Mail Client automagically put in the "http://" here?
Do you know if this is a bug or it is our configuration problem? I tried it on Thunderbird and it works great. Both Outlook and Outlook express fail. Are there anyone getting the same problem?
Look at your server-side logfiles. They will provide you with further information.
Regards, Christian Schmidt
