[Dovecot] Migration - Dovecot to Dovecot

Hi, I am using Dovecot with mbox format, and I am interested to move to Maildir. I have run the modified script (mb2md) but it seems UIDs are not preserved. I don't know how to verify this, but my client seems to be downloading all messages again.

Can someone help?
