Ben, in the wiki it says, lucene has to be v2.1+
Dont know enough of freebsd naming schemes, but to me this looks like you only have lucene v1?

So the version should be fine I guess. On top of that: I hope that the port itself isn't broken (possible of course, but I'd rather expect the f-up in my installation/my configuration?).
