Hello
Thanks for the feedback ! I'll plan to run it at 7.2 and of course certainly not on a production server without numerous tests !

Just to let you guys know, I have nightmare with FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE + ZFS. It brought to me an unrecoverable filesystem error. It is a good technology. But I would wait for it to be more mature before production.
I would highly suggest to run a stress test if you really bring it to production state.
Dino.

Hello
Anyons has tested this configuration with success ?
I'll test it in few days and I am wondering if I am alone :-)
Not ZFS, but various combinations of dovecot 1.1.15+FreeBSD(7.1 and 7.2)+(NFS and UFS). No problem for us® ;)
Yes I too , just curious about ZFS

We run it in an test case also, with no problems till now. We have about 200 mailboxes, not much i know. We have mailboxes with more than 50000 messages, and it all works well. No problems after the normal kernel Tuning. I have updated to 7-stable now so i can use ZFS version 13, it all went smooth. If you goning to try ZFS i would suggest to go for Stable to get the latest ZFS version.
