Think I isolated the issue. Removing the 'acl' statement in [90-acl.conf] the crash goes away. Tested with (f178792fb820):

I guess the crashing mailbox also has some ACLs then?
Indeed. Actually now that you mention I can crash it at will listing any ACL protected folder, folders without ACL survive. The reason for the startup crash was a global INBOX ACL also used.
