The first patch is not getting compiled, where the other one got complied cleanly. Please help on this.

Well, instead of patching you could also get the latest nightly snapshot: http://dovecot.org/nightly/dovecot-latest.tar.gz

I'll also probably make a 2.0.14 release this week.
