Looks like I fixed the issue, changed postfix master to use appropriate dovecot string. flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/local/libexec/dovecot/dovecot-lda -f ${sender} -d ${user}@${nexthop}
on my sql virtual domains file I had the incorrect string, used wrogn variable.
changed to
query = SELECT domain FROM domain WHERE domain='%d' AND active = '1'

Just looked at the patch I referenced below seems to be included on version 2.0.8 that I'm using, not really sure why I'm getting those errors.
