[Dovecot] Moving IMAP folders to NFS volume.

Hello

Due to lack of disk space on local disks I need to move all our imap folders to a NFS volume ( NetAPP filer )

I have a question about Dovecot indexes , is it better to remove all of them before copying folders to the NFS volume and let Dovecot rebuild all indexes when users restart to access to their imap folders ?
