Hi List,
I'm setting up a new Dovecot server and am having some issues getting Dovecot to see the mailbox correctly. I already have several mailboxes (From another Dovecot server) but my new install does not see them. I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 w/ Dovecot 1.0.beta3.
When I try to login, I get the following in the log.
Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth(default): client out: CONT^I1^I Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth-worker(default): sql(nick@mogmail.net, 192.168.0.129): query: SELECT password FROM users WHERE email = ' nick@mogmail.net' Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth(default): client in: CONT<hidden> Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth(default): client out: OK^I1^Iuser= nick@mogmail.net Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth-worker(default): sql(nick@mogmail.net, 192.168.0.129): SELECT CONCAT('/srv/mail/','mogmail.net','/nick') AS home, '5000' AS uid, '5000' AS gid FROM users u, domains d WHERE u.email='nick@mogmail.net' AND d.domain='mogmail.net' Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth(default): master in: REQUEST^I2^I7117^I1 Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: auth(default): master out: USER^I2^Inick@mogmail.net ^Ihome=/srv/mail/mogmail.net/nick^Iuid=5000^Igid=5000 Sep 23 15:11:55 nibiru dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<nick@mogmail.net>, method=plain, rip=192.168.0.129, lip=192.168.0.2
I'm concerned about the "^I" appearing all over the place.
My config is below. Does anyone know what's happening?
Thanks, Nick
# cat dovecot.conf protocols = imap disable_plaintext_auth = no
auth_verbose = yes auth_debug = yes
auth default { mechanisms = plain userdb sql { args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf } passdb sql { args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf } }
# cat dovecot-sql.conf driver = mysql connect = host=localhost dbname=maildb user=postfix password=secret default_pass_scheme = CRYPT
password_query = SELECT password FROM users WHERE email = '%u'
user_query = SELECT CONCAT('/srv/mail/','%d','/%n') AS home, '5000' AS uid, '5000' AS gid FROM users u, domains d WHERE u.email='%u' AND d.domain='%d'
