Indeed, but some people who use certain distros are scared shitless of using source packages and will insist on using a several yo version because thats all <insert distro X or Y here> provides, the 1.2 branch is rock solid stable and time proven, if distro X/Y only oifferes 1.0.x, well, that says a lot about distro X/Y, we all know who X 'n Y are, without mentioning names :)

Chaps,
Your messages are containing the full 15 kilobytes of digest quoted. There may well be some relevant material in there, but if you don't edit it down you are going to run the risk of upsetting some people on the list.
This is not an e-mail thread bouncing around between PHBs; this is the Dovecot mailing list.
Can we please edit down our quoted sections to what is relevant!?
Thank-you.
Regards,
Bill
