Has anyone already made debian packages for one of the 1.1.x releases of Dovecot?

I would recommend grabbing my source package, grabbing the tarball of
the version you want, and copying the debian directory from the source
into the untarred 1.1 source.
You can then build a binary package with dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b
If the compile or install fails, it might be because some file names
have moved around between 1.0 and 1.1. Timo might be able to chime in on
major differences to look out for when packaging.

If others want to walk around wearing sandy underpants, fretting over what they
cannot avoid doing and scolding others for buying produce shipped from Brazil
instead of buying local, they’re welcome to it. Everyone needs a purpose in life.
