This talks about vchkpw instead of the direct vpopmail library support. Which one do you want to use?

Though very late, I found the time to do further tests on this issue, and I am happy to confirm that after applying patch you introduced the variable TCPLOCALPORT is correctly received by vpopmail if I use the method of authentication "checkpassword" in dovecot.conf with a version >= 1.1.2.

So now "Disable non webmail IMAP access" in vpopmail works fine!
