[Dovecot] (mail_cache_add): assertion

I currently use rc2 on FreeBSD AMD64. Are there any news regarding this Bug: mail-cache-transaction.c: line 709 (mail_cache_add): assertion failed: (fixed_size == (unsigned int)-1 || fixed_size == data_size)? I read that access to an 64bit-machine could help you. Feel free to contact me.

Did you also find this "bug" in rc7_2, which is the latest in the FreeBSd ports?
I installed now this one: http://www.dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.rc7.tar.gz which is called rc7_2 on the website and calling itself "v1.0.rc7" in the logfile. The error still occurs when accessing dovecot via squirrelmail.

I'm not exactly sure how to reproduce this problem, but in any case you can fix it by just deleting all dovecot.index.cache files. It happens (sometimes) when you move index files from 32bit machine to 64bit machine.

This solved the problem. I just copied the maildirectories to the new server (32bit to 64bit). After deleting the files everything is fine. Thanks a lot.
