Is there anway to get this information out of dovecot?
Yea, dovecot-uidlist file has the exact same format as long as you're using maildir.
We're new to dovecot (and really enjoying its speed and good sense!)
We are delivering via exim, not yet using the dovecot-lda, and we are delivering to maildirs, but we don't seem to have any dovecot-uidlist files.
What are we missing?
Thank you,
Marilyn

It should be created for a mailbox the first time Dovecot opens the mailbox which has mails.

Yep. I don't know where I slipped a wicket, but there it is.
Thank you. And I'm sorry for the extra brain-cycles and key-strokes.
