OK, thanks for the all the helps I got from the list. I finally managed to get stable 1.0 (050721) built and running.

To avoid the same hassels for others, I made an rpm. You can check it out at

http://linux.junsun.net/rpms

My main motivation to upgrade to this version is to avoid the "Status: O" header re-write bug in 0.99 versions.
