[Dovecot] Wow! Welcome back Timo!
You were missed... hope all went well with - whatever you were doing...

Just lots of different little things I think.. Looks like I've managed to get rid of most of them finally, or at least it feels like it. :) Way too much time went for thinking what to do with my old apartment (sold yesterday) and where to find a new one (buying next week).
There are still a couple of larger things left to do, like work (finish/test the stuff in CVS HEAD, and implement a few new features) and school (well, it takes years, but I'm lagging behind a bit now).
Anyway it doesn't look like there has been many problems with Dovecot reported. Maybe I'll go ahead and release 1.0 soon..

Sorry, but I think there still are problems, like crashes and 100% CPU usage. Those threads have become somewhat silent because there hasn't been much development lately, but I don't think the problems are solved for everyone.

Yea, it's not perfect but I don't see the same crash being reported over and over again by different people :) Anyway I still have over 300 unread mails..
As for the 100% CPU usage I guess you mean the kqueue problem, which was fixed in CVS soon after rc7 release.

Oh, good, but could you release an rc8 then please?
Just
cvs co -r branch_1_0 dovecot
If you need fixes since rc7.
ciao
Luca
Rolling a new rc would ensure more widespread testing, that everyone is on the same page and package maintainers can actually roll packages.
