[Dovecot] Expunge working on folders, but not main mailbox
I've recently installed dovecot, and while the behavior on folders is correct, the inbox cannot be expunged.
This is 1.1.3 running on Fedora release 8 (Werewolf) on ext3 filesystems, using both thunderbird and squirrel clients.
Any assistance would be appreciated. X

It probably doesn't have permissions to create dotlock to /var/spool/mail/. But it should have complained about this in the logs. Setting mail_privileged_group=mail will probably help.
Thanks - someone else recommended that and it worked. X
