[Dovecot] sieve / managesieve: unknown Sieve capability 'imapflags'
$HOME/.dovecot.sieve.log reports:
main_script: line 8: error: require command: unknown Sieve capability 'imapflags'. main_script: line 8: error: require command: unknown Sieve capability 'notify'. main_script: error: validation failed.
I'm using sieve (not cmusieve) and managesieve with dovecot-1.2. SquirrelMail 1.4 is using the avelsieve plugin to created/edit the sieve rules.
What am I doing wrong here?

Damn, I didn't know my users still had OLD sieve scripts back from when I tried cmusieve for about one week. Thanks!
But I'll be back with more questions :)

I deleted the old sieve scripts. Fine.
New problem: I can create sieve scripts, they actually work, but when I log out of squirrelmail and back in, the avelsieve plugin is not showing any rules. Checking the filesystem shows them.
Does this ring a bell? Otherwise I'll ask on the SquirrelMail list .)

your patch might be the answer, i remember patching avelsieve my own long time ago and/or worked with the cvs version by problems with a brand new cyrus version

Hi Ralf, i might be wrong, but there where lots of bufixes with avelsieve, do you use the last version ? And you might get now answer about avelsieve on the squirrellist until its maintained elsewhere special to cyrus

How would I know? The plugin site has been down for a month now.

Right now the patch fixed the issues :)
