[Dovecot] fine tuning for 10 users?
Hello,
How can i fine tune dovecot for less then 10 users? or is there no need?
Also, is there any smtp client which can be used with it for a open-source standalone server? i want very-small foot print+secure server, qmail and sendmail are dinos, and i felt xmail is trying to do everything. (as we are less then 10 users here.)
i liked round-cube for webmail.
i would appreciate all suggestions and pointers.
thank you. -B

Did you mean SMTP server? If so, Postfix would be my suggestion.
Fairly easy for basic configurations, and excellent support on the
mailing list.

http://wiki.dovecot.org/PerformanceTuning lists some tuning settings. But the defaults should work fine with small installations.

Dovecot works well with Postfix.
