- maildir: Creating mailboxes didn't use dovecot-shared's group for

We're using POP and Imap server with dovecot-1.0.0-8_56 with Maildir Format. Usually, there's no lock file with Maildir but now we have "dovecot timeout while waiting for lock".Is it normal? What can be the trouble?

What lock? Could you copy&paste the full error message? Also show your dovecot -n output.
