[Dovecot] Stupid question: Need to increase some connection limits
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
When I switch from one network to another, I sometimes get dovecot
rejecting my connections.
The error I get in the log is similar to:
Sep 22 15:23:22 hostname dovecot: imap-login: Maximum number of connections from user+IP exceeded: user=<user>, method=METHOD, rip=1.2.3.4, lip=5.6.7.8
So the question is what parameter increases that? My five minutes of
looking has failed me.

If you didn't figure out yet: mail_max_userip_connections setting. Future versions will also mention that setting in the log message.
