[Dovecot] Berkely DB authentication?
Does Dovecot support berkeley DB authentication? I'm looking for something simple that is perhaps a single file for multiple domains and something the Exim can also read.

No, and I'm actually hoping to get rid of all traces of BDB code in Dovecot. I just don't seem to have the skills to make it work reliably.
Couldn't you make Exim do SMTP AUTH via dovecot-auth?

What's the problem with that, which versions of BDB have you used, and
what's the reliability issue with BDB?

The last one I heard and didn't fix was http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2009-June/040172.html
