[Dovecot] out of disk space notification
Hi Dovecot readers,
My server (squirrelmail) provides me with the following error-message when selecting a mailbox (trash):
ERROR : Could not complete request. Query: SELECT "Trash" Reason Given: Out of disk space
The user is not over quota but for some reason dovecot still thinks this to be true. Can anyone give me a hint for finding a solution for this problem.
I have installed: dovecot-0.99.10.9-2.0.rh9.dag
Thanks in advance..
David

Is he even close to being out-of-quota? Selecting a mailbox makes Dovecot create index files for it which takes more space.
The problem has been fixed. The partition had 0 bytes free. Dovecot could not handle it (surprise???).
Kind of an oops situation. Thank you for your support anyway.

It may not be packaged on RH9, but update now to at least 0.99.14.
There were MANY fixes between these two versions, ones you'd do well to have.-- Curtis Maloney

Well, this is very much the expected response (one I've encountered myself ):

My advice was more to avoid problems in the future. From memory there were quite a number of easy-to-encounter bugs cleaned up between then and now. I started using Dovecot at 0.99.11, and am now using 0.99.14 happily.
