[Dovecot] Does auth_username_format work at all?
Hi All,
can anyone confirm whether "auth_username_format = %n" works or not?

Sure it works. Maybe just differently than how you expect.
Ah, I see. In my case dspam delivers the mail using dovecot/deliver with "-d user@domain" appended to the command. I was sort of hoping that the "auth_username_format = %n" would strip the "@domain" from "user@domain" leaving "user" for authentication (in which case my setup would work). What is it that I have misunderstood?

You should have mentioned deliver in your mail :) It doesn't work
with it in v1.0. It works in v1.1 though.
