RE: [Dovecot] I'm a Fool
I think it uses MTAto mbox how can I check this to confirm? If it's not a Dovecot issue is it an issue with Postfix?

Is the mail being delivered by the MTA or LDA to the mbox or maildir file? If so, its not a Dovecot issue, unless you are using Dovecot LDA.

Not really much to go on. I'm using Debian's apt-get version. No Error message is received. The two account names are hostmaster and abuse i removed the forwarding in /etc/aliases but still didn't work.

Dovecot has nothing to to with sending mail. Therefore, your question has no background information as to what's going on. You should give us some amplifying information such as what version Dovecot you are using, a brief synopsis of how the problem is encountered and what (if any) error messages are returned. Also, some relevant information from the maillog and/or the conf files would be helpful.
