For now if you're using Maildir, you probably have to set mailbox_list_index_disable=yes. Otherwise there's really nothing to do. I've been going back and forth with 1.0 <-> 1.1 for a long time in my test maildirs.

I'm planning on keeping the index files compatible for v1.1 version. For v2.0 I'll then change them to use less space.
