I've never really liked all these donation buttons in web pages, or receiving donations at all, but as some extra money could make my life easier in the next few months, I thought I'd give it a try.

(And if you're wondering how I could still promise those 1000 euros for a security hole, I've a credit card but I'd rather not use it :) Also I'm not really expecting for anyone to find holes at least anytime soon.)

I'd donate to you if you had anything other than PayPal. I'd love to kick in some $$$. Definitely work it to me big time. If you don't take credit cards tell me where you shop online regularly and I'll buy to an online gift certifice that you can use.

Er, you can use credit cards with PayPal, unless you're opposed to
getting a PayPal account in the first place.

Well, I know I'll certainly not have anything to do with them until they submit to abiding by the laws applicable to banks.... or stop acting like a bank.
BTW- ever tried to cancel a PayPal account?

I don't do business with payPal - Here's why:
Why do you then have PayPal donation link all over those silly sex guide articles? Like: http://sex.perkel.com/howto/nerdsex.htm or http://sex.perkel.com/escort/shygirl.htm
I guess you actually do business with them, because your account seem open when I clicked on the link.
Funny.

Fair enough (and your story does sound pretty bad, I agree).
But at the end of the day it's primarily Timo who loses out...................

I don't know how I could do that. In any case it would probably take too much effort to set it up.
I could however give my bank account's international bank account number, which should work at least inside Europe. I'm not entirely sure how that works though. And I think it also costs something to do the transfer. Here's it anyway:
IBAN: FI2214703500106334 SWIFT: NDEAFIHH

I don't really need any more stuff, and I shop quite rarely online. Although I wouldn't mind getting an iPod nano :)
Here's an idea...As an alternative to PayPal, try the Amazon Honor System. http://tinyurl.com/7d9lp

As I understand, these transfers must not be more expensive than national transfers. So the costs should be zero or at least negligible.
