As mentioned at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/PrebuiltBinaries ATrpms exits and can be used. They are providing <http://packages.atrpms.net/name/dovecot/> x86_64 RPMs and SRCRPMs (so you can build your own i686 RPMs).
