# rpm -q dovecot dovecot-1.0-2_42.rc21.te Interesting. I got my RPM from atrpms. Notice the differerence in the number after the hyphen:
Yours: 1.0-2_42 Atrpms: 1.0-1_42
Should I not be using the binary from atrpms? Is there a better place to find binaries for Fedora Core 5?

I typically build a lot of my own RPMs, and am working with Axel (ATrpms) on this one off-list. My builds are almost the same as his, I just remove and tweak the binaries to get rid of useless-to-me things like SQL support.
Continue using ATrpms binaries, you're fine. :) BTW I just added this to the Wiki, about to email Axel:

Sorry, I messed up, what claims to be dovecot-1.0-1_42.rc21.fc5.at really contained v1.0.rc19, i.e. this is not any upstream fault, but a genuine packaging bug.
New packages, now *really* using the rc21 sources are in preparation.
