From the what I see, MessagePart is the default value. My <sysconfdir>/dovecot.conf has: mail_cache_fields = MessagePart

The valid values for mail_cache_fields have changed since 0.99. See the new dovecot-example.conf for new allowed values. Or just comment out the setting so it uses the default, which is probably what you want anyway..
