Well, we've upgraded the client to beta9, no errors in /var/log/maillog except:
"Disconnected: Unknown error"
When we enter the folders that return the above errors as presented by the Squirrelmail Client. This is only one user.
Any ideas? Permissions all look correct file system wise, and we have control and indexes in their homedir using private namespace etc.
No one from the other 40 users is experiencing this error.
Any ideas?
Gavin.

Does the /var/log/maillog in general show error messages from Dovecot?

Pretty much all of these errors would print some errors to logs.
What OS? What filesystem? Do you use NFS? This error just reminds me of the one Mario Nigrovic was (is) having which is NFS related.
Have you tried deleting Dovecot's index files from the mailbox and see if it works after that?

Yes ;-)

They do, thanks.

Nope.

That's the next step, but wanted to check if it was something simple etc.
Will report back.
Thanks Timo.
Gavin.
