I'm using 0.99.11 with sendmail and shadow passwords.

I've discovered an odd bug with password characters. Password Result [dove] works ]dove[ fails

You can substitute anything for the dove part so its the inverted ] [ that's causing some sort of problem.

For the failed login I see this in the dovecot logs ... imap-login: Mar 03 15:54:10 Info: Login: test [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] dovecot-auth: Mar 03 15:54:11 Info: Login process 23 disconnected

Any ideas?
