[Dovecot] Maildirs++ on ext4
Hi,
happy after migrating from Courier to Dovecot without major issues, and saving 3 Gb of RAM after the migration, now I'm going to move everything to a 5 Tb RAID6 array. There's another thread on SATA and cluster fs, but for now I'm looking for the best filesystem in your experience. Currently I use Reiser, but I'd like to know if someone has worked with ext4 and Dovecot's maildir++.
Thanks.
P.S. I have UPS and generator, but my RAID card doesn't have backup battery.

For what it's worth considering that hard drives are cheap I prefer raid 10. It's simple, fast, works well, and you do waste 1/2 of the drive space but so what.
