Hi,
Timo, thank you for your previus answer. Now I have other problems:
Error message: imap-login: Can't open SSL parameter file ssl-parameters.dat: Permission denied I don´t know if it is because I have another location for ssl-parameters.dat file $ls -la /var/run/dovecot-1.0/login/ssl-parameters.dat -rw------- 1 root dovecot 230 Jul 4 13:41 ssl-parameters.dat
I´m testing dovecot with Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 and when I try to access several folders this error appear: " ... use the Advanced IMAP Server Settings dialog to reduce the number of cache connections." in config file: auth_cache_size = 0 So cache is disable
And last error is when I send a message. It fails when try to copy message to Sent folder.
Thank you in advance, Lucas

- Error message: imap-login: Can't open SSL parameter file ssl-parameters.dat: Permission denied I don?t know if it is because I have another location for ssl-parameters.dat file $ls -la /var/run/dovecot-1.0/login/ssl-parameters.dat -rw------- 1 root dovecot 230 Jul 4 13:41 ssl-parameters.dat
I experienced the same with rc2 and could solve the problem by adding read rights for group and others on ssl-parameters.dat.

I thought this was fixed in rc2. What do the permissions look like in /var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat (or /usr/local/var/...)? Are you /var/run and /var/lib in different filesystems?

Oh, I'm sorry. It is. I was a little bit confused and mixed up rc1 with rc2.

I just did a new installation, and everything looks fine: -rw-r--r-- 1 root other 230 Jul 6 14:09 ssl-parameters.dat
Sorry for the noise!!
