We are using scripts for login successes. Is there a feature for login failed status or can it be developed?

Login failures are only visible in auth and login processes. Probably better to implement it in auth process. And there it depends on what passdb you use. You could for example switch to passdb checkpassword, which allows you to easily run scripts for both success and failure.
