mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir

namespace { prefix = INBOX. separator = . inbox = yes }

... is wrong. Apparently it should be ...

mail_location = maildir:~/INBOX

...which at least seemed to work, although (by that time?) I wound up re-downloading all mail.
