[Dovecot] Assistant access
Does anyone have a clue how I might set Dovecot up to allow another account to have read/write access to my INBOX and one other folder?
I want to set things up so my assistant can pre-scan my post-Spamassassed email to remove more spam from it.
Thanks!
Doug

Just a guess, but perhaps two accounts with the same uid, different passwords, and the same homedirectory...
If anyone would care to code a workable solution to this problem, I am willing to contract out the work. Just send me a quote.
Let me know,
Doug

This would be possible with 1.0-tests by setting proper permissions to your INBOX and other dir, and making a symlinks to them in your assistant's maildir. http://wiki.dovecot.org/SharedFolders
Real support for shared folders comes sometimes after 1.0. With 0.99.x there's no good way to do this, except if both users use same UIDs I guess the symlinking would work..
