I thought this was more related to some sort of corruption on the file system. Also the doveadm does not seem to be able to fix it. I never created this 'foldertest17485243507278' so I guessed it is maybe something dovecot found. Some stray mailbox it detected. Nobody every seen these automatically appear?
I don't think much help will be posting a conf as it has probably 95% irrelevant data.

Posting the configuration lets us look over what you had, and understand better your configuration. Dovecot has some many options and ways to use it, that problems can come for all kinds of places. But even if just 5% if the config is relevant, it helps.
So you're running on RHEL9 (or Almalinux, etc) running dovecot 2.3. It sounds like you have replication to another host setup. But again, since you didn't post your config, its hard to tell.
I'd guess you're using mdbox, which I think is a bad idea honestly. If you corrupt the mdbox file, all the email in that mailbox could be lost. Using Maildir format helps limit the damage potential in my opinion. And it means that you can still read and access the email without having to use IMAP and dovecot in the worst case.
But again, describe your setup more clearly, look in the dovecot log files, post log files, etc. All this helps us help you.

And found this in the log Debug: acl vfile: file .../Archive/mailboxes/3a87771e46c1fb66696c010052412a8e/dovecot-acl not found
in mailboxes I had 919d7a31a60e0d67dd13000052412a8e and now created there 3a87771e46c1fb66696c010052412a8e. Looks like it resolves the fronted error that I got. But there are no folders in this path/namespace. So I wonder if dovecot changed this folder id?
And should dovecot not make this folder automatically?
