[Dovecot] virtual hosting
I am a newee in Dovecot, Now my dovecot is working fine to be connected to receive email sent to one domain. Could anyone tell me how can I configure it to be connected to receive email sent to another domain. I really heading the wall.
thanks.

Dovecot is the IMAP/POP3 server. Receiving e-mails is task for your SMTP server, which should be configured at first. If your users are going to change often, you should definitely make them virtual, as described here: http://wiki.dovecot.org/VirtualUsers
But the first thing you have to do is configure your SMTP server. There is a plenty of documentation all over the internet, including complete howtos for specific SMTP servers/systems/distributions - just try to Google them.

I am sorry but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMAP says: E-mail clients can generally be configured to use either POP3 or IMAP4 to retrieve e-mail and in both cases use SMTP for sending.
I have smtp server(postfix) setup for virtual hosing and working fine, but now I just could not have my client connect to the pop3 server to retrieve emails. Even though it connect and authenticated alright. It seems the directory of emails saved are just messed.
Could you confirm the terms and help me how to check the config of directories?
Thanks.

If http://wiki.dovecot.org/MailLocation doesn't help, post dovecot -n output and tell me where the mails are located.
