This morning I have a Outlook 2007 user who getting the error and I am unsure how to fix it.

Looks like Outlook is sending some garbage to Dovecot. You could verify this by getting the raw IMAP traffic logs, e.g. using http://wiki.dovecot.org/Debugging/Rawlog or wireshark or ngrep.
The solution is probably to recreate the account in Outlook, or something like that.
