Hello,
It's actually the way around: pick any user management and configure Dovecot to use its database.
Depending on what you want, you need a system, that also removes the user's home dirs and/or creates them from a skeleton.
Makes sense, and is nicely simple.
After doing a change in the user database, make sure to run doveadm auth cache flush to force Dovecot to pick up the changes, before you fire up the next test.
