[Dovecot] trouble with ssl

hi list,

first of all, many thanks to the developers of dovecot for
this great piece of software!

i'm running dovecot 0.99.9.1 on netbsd-current - runs very fine
until i try to use sylpheed from my client to connect via ssl:
