[Dovecot] dovecot crashes on start

I think I found the problem.   The second trace had this line.

2}, {"cannot open shared object file", 30}, {": ", 2},
{"No such file or directory", 25}, {"\n", 1}], 10 <unfinished ...>

so I added /usr/local/pgsql/lib into /etc/ld.so.conf and ran ldconfig. 
I now have running dovecot processes.  I apologize for wasting your time.
