This is your Sendmail installation calling Cyrus SASL library to do SMTP
AUTH. And your Cyrus SASL is configured to use /etc/sasldb2 as the user
database.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with Dovecot.

Outlook and Evolution aren't probably trying to use SMTP AUTH while
others are.
