[Dovecot] Trouble with basic Dovecot setup

I solved my problem by switching tp pgsql authentication :/
(Not that that actually fixed it, but in going thru the setup
i must have doone something to fix my prev. error.)

I _think_ my probelm may have been not using <username>
instead uf <username at domain> when i was connecting from
the mail client.
