[Dovecot] Which comes first after postfix, dovecot or cyrus-sasl?

Umm... no.
Dovecot comes with its own SASL implementation, which will save you the pain and
mental anguish of having to touch Cyrus-SASL.
If Postfix is delivering mail, then once you have Dovecot installed, you just
need to tell it where to find the mail, user list, and passwords, and you're
off. It really can be that simple.
